AD-KI 200 GS, AD-KI 200 GS-O
Description
The AD-KI 200 GS contact protection pulse relay is used to protect encoder contacts or the amplification of binary encoder signals. The input pulse can be provided at the output (static following 1:1) or converted into output pulses with a constant, adjustable length (pulse shaping). Typical input signals are reed contacts, signal generators according to NAMUR (DIN EN 60947-5-6), TTL levels, or voltage signals. The switching logic of the input signal (low active / high active), the output function, and the pulse length of the output signal can be set via front-panel DIP switches and a trimmer. Alternatively, all device functions and the switching levels can be configured using the AD-Studio programming software. Two potential-free contacts are available at the output. The version AD-KI 200 GS-O has wear-free transistor outputs, which are also galvanic separated via optocoupler. Furthermore, the device has an electronic wide-range power supply unit, which supplies the AD-KI 200 GS(-O) from a wide supply voltage range.

Application
Pulse reception of water meter or flow monitors for metering the through-flow quantity. Amplification and contact protection of encoder signals (reed contacts, limit switches, etc.), Switching signal transmission in control circuits. Switching amplifier for inductive and capacitive proximity switches according to Namur (DIN 19234).
