SALT VS1

Description

The SALT VS1 valve control unit is used for the pneumatic cleaning of filter systems. The VS1 activates a solenoid valve cyclically in order to clean the filter with bursts of compressed air. The control unit is supplied with 24 VDC. All necessary parameters can be set via control elements on the circuit board.

Control elements:

Poti Pulse-Length:
This potentiometer can be used to set the pulse length in milliseconds for which the valve is active.
Setting range: 20...300 ms

Poti Pulse-Pause:
This potentiometer can be used to set the pulse pause in minutes. This corresponds to the pause between two pulses in succession.
Setting range: 0,5...55 min

Functional description:

When the supply voltage is switched on, the control unit immediately starts operating (green operating LED lights up), i.e. cleaning the filter with compressed air blasts. The SALT VS1 controls the valve with the specified pulse length. This is followed by a pause time with the time set on the potentiometer. The activation of the valve and the subsequent pause time are repeated cyclically. As soon as the supply voltage is switched off, cleaning is also stopped.
